In this blog post, we’ll explore some of London’s most unique event venues that provide your guests with beautiful, immersive surroundings and a memorable experience.

Outernet London

Outernet London is an exceptional event venue. It perfectly blends cutting-edge technology with a dynamic atmosphere, offering a versatile space suitable for many events. However, what truly sets Outernet apart is its immersive audio-visual experience. Here, you’ll discover The Now Building and Now Trending, public galleries with giant Ultra HD screens that deliver some of the world’s most breathtaking audio-visual experiences.

Additionally, there’s a state-of-the-art live music venue with a 2,000-person capacity, along with various other music and retail spaces throughout the district.

Household Cavalry Museum

Whether you’re planning a dinner, corporate meeting, or a celebration, The Royal Horseguards Museum allows guests to mingle among fascinating exhibits, sparking engaging conversations and inspiration. The museum is located in Whitehall, one of London’s iconic buildings that features stunning architecture, historic interiors, and a variety of features that create an environment unlike any other.

For example, pre-dinner drinks can take place in the Stables Gallery, where guests will dine amidst an impressive collection of ceremonial uniforms, weaponry, medals and other objects. Your guests can also have the exciting opportunity to try on Ceremonial uniforms and admire the horses in their stables from the viewing room. The venue can host receptions for up to 100 standing guests, dinners for up to 40 guests, and private tours for up to 50 guests.

Tower Bridge Walkways

Imagine hosting an event with the iconic Tower Bridge Walkways as your venue, with a history and design that will impress and immerse your guests. Completed in 1894, the Tower Bridge Walkways were initially designed to allow pedestrians to cross the bridge even when the bascules were raised. They were closed in 1910 due to lack of use but reopened in 1982 as part of the Tower Bridge Exhibition. This provides visitors with panoramic views of London and insights into the bridge’s construction and history.

It’s a wonderful space unlike any other. The five-metre-wide walkways offer sufficient space for a variety of setups, whether your guests will be dining at tables or enjoying drinks with a view. If you have an upcoming event that requires a special venue, Tower Bridge Walkways can accommodate up to 250 guests for standing receptions and up to 120 guests for seated dinners.

Hunterian Museum

The Hunterian Museum is truly a one-of-a-kind venue that pays homage to both history and science. This hidden gem features an incredible collection of artistic works, specimens, and artefacts that will spark interesting conversations and create an engaging social atmosphere. It underwent a significant refurbishment and reopened its doors in 2023. It now features exceptional spaces that are perfect for corporate gatherings, receptions, and private functions. With a capacity to accommodate up to 150 guests, the Hunterian Museum offers a distinctive and captivating setting for all types of events.

Dr Johnson's House

Dr Johnson’s House is a fantastic location and an incredible event venue. This charming 18th-century townhouse is nestled amongst the courts and alleys just off Fleet Street, within easy reach of the West End and in the heart of the City of London. It was here that Samuel Johnson wrote his Dictionary of the English Language.

The beautifully proportioned interiors boast a wealth of original details and provide a warm and inviting environment that makes any gathering special. Its cosy spaces provide the perfect backdrop for various occasions, with capacities of up to 80 people for a reception and 40 people for a dinner. It’s not just an everyday venue; it’s a place that sparks inspiration among attendees and cultivates meaningful connections.

The Palm Room

The Palm Room, located within the historic Spencer House, is a remarkable example of 18th-century architecture. Known for its intricate decor and elegant ambience, the room is a testament to the grandeur of the period. It features stunning plasterwork, elaborate gilding, and classical motifs that reflect the sophistication of its original design.

Approximately 60 feet in length and 30 feet in width, it’s one of the larger staterooms in Spencer House and can comfortably accommodate up to 120 guests for a standing reception or 80 guests for a seated dinner. Hosting at this unique event venue allows your guests to roam beneath stunning ceilings in a beautifully designed space. With customisable layouts and state-of-the-art amenities, you can ensure that every detail aligns with your goals.
