Our team is passionate about incorporating sustainability into Word on the Street as a company but also your events & programmes.
How do we build sustainability into your event?
Everyone is at different stages in their sustainability journey. There are many challenges to evolving and changing your event. We can help with this, whichever stage, be it the first steps or striving for carbon positive.
Through our event framework we have designed a way to not only incorporate sustainability into your event but also provide accountability throughout the event planning process.
Following your event, we can create a report showcasing the great initiatives you have incorporated into your plans and ideas for the future. We can even the calculate the overall carbon footprint from your event or savings made from your changes.

We are a member of Isla, the sustainability body for the events industry.
In partnership with Isla, all of our team have undergone training and we have created KPI’s to push us as a company to be more sustainable. We champion sustainability in all that we do and share our ideas and knowledge with the industry to help inspire others.
We have lots of initiatives which we have incorporated into Word on the Street and are constantly looking at new ideas and additions.

Word on the Street is a Trinity Local Business Hero.
We have committed to volunteering our event planning skills to the hospice across 2023. We will be assisting the events team across the year and in particular with one of their key fundraising events.
We will be working with clients to donate event items such as flowers to the hospice.
